We got a new monitor yesterday. It was on sale, so we figured why not. We'd had our old monitor for quite some time...it was a 15 inch....so imagine how old it was. But what prompted me to write about it was the fact that it amazes me how dense I can be. I barely notice my surroundings!
When I loaded my new blog background and banner, I was disappointed that I could only see a sliver of the pretty graphics on each side of the center. On the website where I loaded the nice makeover, it showed it as wider and so very pretty.
Well, I used the computer all day yesterday, with the new monitor in place. Checked in on my blog a couple of times.
And it's not until now, that I notice that I can see the pretty pink wood planks with the stars, and the green and brown bows! The screen is wider, so that's why I can fully appreciate the new layout!
I suppose because I'm always thinking about things and projects, I tend to miss what's in front of me. How sad, wouldn't you say? But it is nice to see things in a new 'light'.....to suddenly have an epiphany of sorts and say "HA!"
And you know what else I just barely noticed? This new 'dashboard in draft' doesn't have a spellcheck feature. I almost never use spellcheck, because I forget to, but I looked for it right now, and I can't find it. Maybe it's there right under my nose, but I'm somehow missing it. It wouldn't be the first time I miss something. Yes, apparently today is 'beat myself over the head' day.
Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things. ~Philippians 4:8~
