For future reference, when I think October will surely bring cool temperatures:
Today's high: 102F, with a very high humidity of 75%! Weatherman said that was like a heat index of 109F! And yet, no rain anywhere in sight.
There's a cool front in the north part of the state, heading south. But likely it will stall just north of San Antonio.
The substance of our conversations on a typical day even this late in the year.......always hoping for cool weather and even a little bit of rain.

Hang in there yaya. Before long you'll be wishing for summer again. Hope all is okay. I stuffed those chili's, they were delish! Have a great rest of the evening. Take care.
Wowsers.. I had no idea it was still so hot there! We rarely have that kind of heat up here, even in the middle of the summer. Which is a good thing, as I am a complete and utter wimp when it comes to heat- I turn beet red, lol.

Oh, Yaya, I had hoped the rains had made it to you. If it is any consolation with the rain and humidity came a ton of mosquitoes.
Next front is supposed to come through Thursday night should bring us down to the 70's so maybe the 80's for you. I will wave it on down for you. ;D
Cooler weather is expected for us on Saturday. Hopefully it will make it all the way to your house, too.
